Baby and Me Growing Together

A workbook designed to help teenage and low-income parents of infants 0-12 months old.  Teaches parents to feed, nurture, and guide their babies in ways

A Food Plan for Emergencies

Gateway to a Better Life

A curriculum that helps prepare welfare recipients to enter the workforce.  Provides individuals with the information they need to get a job and balance the demands of work and home.  Instructor's kit includes lesson plans for 24 Gateway lessons, handout masters in both English and Spanish, CD with bilingual color visuals in PowerPoint, and a printed binder for easy organization.  Curriculum can be purchased online under the Home and Family category at: www.anrcatalog.ucdavis.edu.

Getting it Together: Fit Families and Financial Readiness

Little Books

The Little Books are a set of 20 easy-to-recite, simple, short stories in English and Spanish for 4-6 year olds.  The Little Books help young children behave like readers and feel successful in their first "reading" attempts by emphasizing that you read to comprehend and present printed words in meaningful contexts and using simple illustrations which closely match the text.
